Pippa has been Flower Arranging since childhood, influenced by her parents love of nature. She has been a member of a Flower Club since the age of 22 although with a busy work life as a physiotherapist it wasn’t until retirement that she had more time for Flower Arranging.
Pippa completed a NAFAS level 2 course and would have continued to a higher level if a course was available. She qualified as a NAFAS Area Judge and also enjoys competing. Pippa also completed a NAFAS teaching course as she recognised the dearth of available Flower Arranging Courses. The Club Practice Class is a small way of providing some Flower Arranging education. With the loss of Adult Education Classes there is very little opportunity for people to learn and enjoy this wonderfully creative art form.

Chippenham Flower Club runs a monthly (except December) Practice Class. These classes are designed to teach the beginner, the intermediate and the advanced. There is little opportunity within further education to develop these skills, which will last a lifetime. Flower arranging is an enjoyable, relaxing and calming pastime, suitable for anyone from about 7 years and upwards. It is a fun evening out.
Check out our gallery for our monthly display.
To ensure our practice classes are relevant and ‘on trend’ Pippa uses both her experience, ideas discussed at “desingers forum’, and our own Flower Arranger Magazine. This magazine is available to purchase directly from our club or by clicking the link below, and contains a wealth of interesting and vibrant floral designs along with instructions on how to produce such arrangements.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring the beauty of nature into people's lives through our stunning floral arrangements. We believe that flowers have the power to brighten up anyone's day and we want to share that joy with our members and visitors, If we can help people gain the skills to display flowers then we are doing a good job,
